The weather here has been of great discussion with thunderstorms, power outages, and 100+ temps. It looks like things will cool off a tiny bit for the wedding. (Yes, the church is air conditioned!). To keep an eye on the weather check this site: http://www.weather.com/weather/tenday/USVA0023

Fast Facts

Ceremony
2:30pm at Ft. Myer Chapel in Arlington, VA - Photo ID required to get on base. Allow plenty of time to pass through security. There is parking outside the chapel.

Reception
6:00pm - Cocktail Hour in Stars 1&2, Sheraton Pentagon City Hotel
7:00pm - Dinner in Galaxy Ballroom, Sheraton Pentagon City Hotel

Transportation
- There is a bus from the hotel to the chapel, please be in the hotel lobby (with your Photo ID) by 1:45pm.
- There is a bus from the chapel to the hotel, please be ready by 3:15pm
- There is a bus tour departing from the hotel at 3:45pm (subject to change, could be earlier)

The After Party

Food Coma! 
Daniel and I had a "tasting" today of some wedding menu items. We were left in a food coma, so I can only imagine what will happen on the wedding day. They are bringing in some items from local restaurants so we didn't get to try all of the Latin American dishes but knowing where they are coming from I'm sure they will be delish!

Cocktail Hour (6pm) Highlights - bacon wrapped scallops and vegetable samosas

Dinner (7pm) International buffet of delightful food...
Highlights - creamy risotto (Italian) and chicken tikka masala (Indian)

Then comes dessert - we got to do a cake tasting (again) - still loving our choice for the wedding cake :)

Get on the Bus!

Transportation will be provided to/from the chapel and Sheraton Pentagon City Hotel. Also a brief sightseeing tour of DC is available between the ceremony and reception.

2:10pm clear security and arrive at Ft. Myer Old Post Chapel
2:30pm ceremony
3:15pm depart Old Post Chapel for Sheraton Pentagon City Hotel
3:30pm arrive at Sheraton Hotel
3:45pm depart from Sheraton Hotel for DC Sightseeing Tour
5:45pm return to Sheraton Hotel
